KRE Group launches pre-leasing for second phase of Bay 151 on Bayonne’s waterfront

Pre-leasing for the second phase of Bay 151, the luxury rental community on the Bayonne waterfront. Initial occupancy is expected for Jan. 1, according to an announcement this week from developer Kushner Real Estate Group (KRE).

The new offering of 213 luxury apartments follows the successful lease-up of the first phase of 200 residences in 2020 and also includes an expansion of the community’s extensive amenity offering. Residents now have access to more than 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor social and recreational spaces, with more planned for a future phase.

Last year the luxury rental community helped further the transformation of Bayonne’s waterfront peninsula into a new Gold Coast destination, and has now doubled in size.

KRE introduced an additional 213 apartments at the community which is located just steps from Bayonne’s 45th Street Light Rail station and amidst a growing list of restaurants, retail, and entertainment.

A collection of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences – including some with unique loft-style floor plans – are offered for pre-leasing at monthly rental rates starting from $1,910.

Jonathan Kushner

“Bay 151 has quickly become one of Bayonne’s most desirable residential addresses,” said Jonathan Kushner, President of The KRE Group. “We’re excited to now bring the second phase to market which opens the community up to hundreds of new residents looking for more living and outdoor space, abundant amenities and a well-connected lifestyle – all at an attractive price point.”

Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, the new residences are located in a four-story building and feature stylish finishes and appointments.

Bay 151 is a three-phase project that will ultimately comprise 625 rental residences and 10,000 square feet of retail space on a scenic, 16-acre property surrounded by New York Harbor. The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail’s 45th Street station and a planned commuter ferry terminal on the Bayonne waterfront are both within walking distance, providing convenient access to neighboring Jersey City and Manhattan. Residents are also a short drive from the entrance of the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 78, and The Holland Tunnel.
