Lee & Associates represented home goods department store, Everyday Savings, in a 12,976-square-foot sublease in Union City. Everyday Savings, which has 26 locations throughout the tri-state area, will be taking over a former Rite Aid and is slated to open in December.
Steve Lorenzo of Lee & Associates NYC represented Everyday Savings in the transaction. The sublandlord, Walgreens, was represented by Michael Riley of JLL and Tyler Bennett of Bennett Realty.
“We are thrilled to have worked together again with the team at Everyday Savings for a new, convenient location in the area,” said Steve Lorenzo, principal at Lee & Associates NYC. “The corner location is easily accessible and features on-site parking, which is a major advantage for the commuter-friendly area. They will make a great addition to the neighborhood.”
Located at 3100 Bergenline Ave., the store is within in a retail corridor near Highway 495. Prior to Rite Aid’s occupancy, the building was a former Hudson Trust Co. bank, which reflects the current building’s dramatic architecture and interior character.
