Rockefeller Group breaks ground on 345,600 sq. ft. distribution center in Eastampton Township

A 345,600-square-foot distribution center will be coming to Eastampton Township. Developer Rockefeller Group said Wednesday that it broke ground on its Logistics Center Eastampton, which will be located on a 27.64-acre parcel on Route 206, approximately eight miles from Exit 7 of the New Jersey Turnpike. The group purchased the property in September and the project is expected to be delivered in fall 2022.

“We are excited for the opportunity to expand our industrial development to central New Jersey with our newest project along the New Jersey Turnpike,” said Zachary Csik, director, real estate development, for Rockefeller Group’s NJ/PA Region. “The Exit 8A submarket has seen record growth and absorption over the past five years and we are confident that tenants will look to Exit 7, the Burlington County submarket, and points south for Class A distribution space.”

The Class A site plan includes 96 trailer spaces, 384 auto parking spaces and a 185-foot truck court with a 60-foot concrete apron. The state-of-the-art facility will also include 54 dock doors with two drive-in doors, 36-foot clear height, 4,000 square feet of speculative office space, 3,000 amps of power and LED lighting.

The CBRE team of Tom Monahan, Gerard Monahan, Stephen D’Amato, Larry Schiffenhaus, Lauren Hageman and Ana Lazarides served as the exclusive agent for the development. Rockefeller Group has selected Blue Rock Construction as general contractor. Menlo Engineering is the civil engineer and KSS Architects designed the building.
