Mercer County Community College begins search for its 7th president

The Mercer County Community College board of trustees said last week that it has commenced the search for the college’s seventh president, following Jianping Wang’s decision to retire next summer.

The MCCC Presidential Search Committee will work with RH Perry & Associates, a national higher education search firm, to identify candidates and select finalists. The search committee is comprised of MCCC faculty, staff, students, board members and key community and MCCC Foundation stakeholders.

The college community will have an opportunity to meet and learn more about the finalists at open forums in March. Finalists will be reviewed by the board of trustees, which will select and hire the next president from that group.

Applications and nomination should be received by Dec. 13. Information regarding the presidential search and the Presidential Leadership Profile is available on the MCCC Presidential Search webpage.
