Nutley-based developer Prism Capital Partners said Wednesday that Avenue & Green, a new 232-unit luxury apartment community in downtown Woodbridge, reached the 50% leased milestone less than three months after its launch.
“The pace of leasing at Avenue & Green has been nothing short of incredible,” Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president, residential, said. “This one-of-a-kind community is attracting interest from a wide demographic. We are seeing renters of all ages and diverse income levels coming from the local region as well as out of state.” He credited Avenue & Green’s leasing team — including the Marketing Directors’ Shanice Coull, Chelsie Loh and Jamie Case — for exemplary work during the initial leasing stage.
The highly amenitized, transit-oriented Avenue & Green sits adjacent to the Woodbridge train station, at the corner of Rahway Avenue and Green Street. It features a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom residences with nine-foot ceilings, plank flooring, in-home washers and dryers, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops.
Avenue & Green’s lifestyle amenities include access to a resort-style pool and landscaped courtyard with private barbecues, outdoor dining, fire pits and a screening area. Indoor features include a thoughtfully curated resident lounge with billiards and shuffleboard, a state-of-the-art fitness center, demonstration kitchen, full-size laundry rooms on every floor with large capacity washers and dryers for oversized items, complimentary bike storage and covered on-site parking.
Avenue & Green also includes 10,500 square feet of street-level retail. Already, two retail leases have been signed — by LeGrand Coffee House and the UPS Store — with additional contracts in the works for the remaining availability.
Monthly rents at Avenue & Green begin from $1,815 for a studio, $2,000 for a one-bedroom and $2,640 for a two-bedroom apartment, after current incentives that include up to two months free.
