Fair Lawn resident elevated to first VP/project and vendor management at Kearny Bank

Earl Jornadal of Fair Lawn has been named 1st vice president/project and vendor management services by Kearny Bank, the Fairfield-based institution said Wednesday.

In his new role, Jornadal will manage procedures and processes that include guiding proposed new business initiatives and overseeing vendor management.

Having joined Kearny Bank in 2010 as a teller, Jornadal earned a series of promotions and was most recently vice president/project management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Montclair State University and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor.

“We’re always eager to further enhance and refine the way we manage new business proposals and vendor relationships, and Earl has proven he’s well suited to doing exactly that,” Kearny Bank Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer Erika Sacher said. “I’m confident he’ll be effective in his new role, to the benefit of our clients and the bank.”

During Kearny Bank’s 2020 acquisition of Millington Bank, Jornadal was instrumental in developing a comprehensive task list and project plan and then coordinating with all departments to ensure completion.
