Strat House names former Nickelodeon exec as senior vice president

Montclair-based Strat House appointed a former Nickelodeon exec, Lauren Elchoness, as senior vice president of the experiential agency specializing in live and virtual business-to-business events. In this role, Elchoness will oversee client services and production for the group’s domestic and international events and campaigns.

Elchoness held several positions during her 20-plus-year tenure with Viacom, the parent company of Nickelodeon. Most recently as senior vice president, Nickelodeon Experiences, she oversaw planning, development and execution of location-based experiences and events, including festivals, popups, multicity tours and tentpole activations. Previously, Elchoness led the integrated marketing and partnerships convergent account team, creating compelling promotional concepts that drove brand awareness and market share across the television, digital, social and off-channel portfolio.

“We are thrilled to have Lauren joining us in this leadership capacity,” Strat House CEO Erin Mills said. “Her unique understanding of entertainment and lifestyle brands coupled with extensive expertise in both internal and client marketing events will be instrumental to our strategic approach to B2B. We’re here to make employee, customer & prospect marketing events inspire connection, passion and wonder — and having one of the visionaries behind such experiences like Slime City and SlimeFest along for this ride inspires endless possibilities — and let’s be honest, a whole lot of fun!”
