In-state move: Why global door manufacturer Belldinni relocated to Pennsauken

Companies across the state are constantly on the lookout for better opportunities for their business. That search, however, doesn’t necessarily have to end with an out-of-state location.

When Belldinni, an interior door manufacturer with locations around the world, was looking to relocate from Rahway to offer its customers more efficient products, delivery and customer service, it had plenty of options. It decided a 35,000-square-foot facility in Pennsauken was the best answer.

The company recently moved its office, manufacturing and warehouse to the Camden County location.

“One of the reasons we chose Pennsauken was its favorable geographic location: It has access to markets in two states,” Olga Tarasenko, Belldinni’s search engine promotion specialist, said. “In our opinion, the area has good market capacity and good customer potential.”

Belldinni, which has sold more than 30,000 prefinished doors in the past two years, purchased and renovated the building because it offered a way to boost capacity, quality and on-time delivery.

The company, which has additional production sites in Europe, said it expects to expand its production processes to a new level, with state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities that will increase production volume and allow the construction of new door styles and a wider range of door selections for its consumers.

Belldinni officials said they are looking forward to supporting the region’s economy and are thrilled to be a part of the Pennsauken community.
