Solaia, North Bergen’s upscale 14-story building, celebrates highly successful opening

Skyline Development unveils completed condos and spa amenities in luxury residential building

North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco recently joined fellow municipal officials and representatives of Skyline Development Group to cut a ceremonial ribbon on Solaia, the signature new upscale condominium building in Hudson County.

Lying between Edgewater and Weehawken, the boutique building celebrated completion of its 70 upscale residences and 10,000 square feet of spa-inspired indoor and outdoor lifestyle amenities. The development milestone followed the successful sales launch of the 14-story building earlier this year.

Offering a holistic and balanced approach to living and an ultraconvenient location less than 10 minutes from NY Waterway Ferry service into Manhattan, with great proximity to the Lincoln Tunnel and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail station, Solaia recorded five sales in November alone, according to the Marketing Directors, its exclusive marketing and sales agent.

“With its prime location, stunning views of Manhattan, exquisite architecture and design, and state-of-the-art features, Solaia is one of the most distinctive properties on the entire Gold Coast,” Sacco said. “The amenities are second to none, with a spa-like atmosphere and world-class facilities for fitness, relaxation and entertainment. It makes a great addition to North Bergen and I’m proud to welcome it to our community.”

Located at 8701 Churchill Road near the Hudson River waterfront, Solaia is elevated into the Palisades Cliffs, creating an ambiance that allows residents to quickly escape to a resort-like environment in the heart of New Jersey’s vibrant Gold Coast.

“We’re delighted to officially open the doors to high end living at Solaia,” Skyline Development Group founder and CEO Louis Mont said. “We’re opening this building at a time when buyers are rethinking their priorities and want larger, luxurious homes in well-amenitized buildings that provide a respite from the congestion of Manhattan but are still near its business and entertainment centers. Solaia completely fills those desires and has received an overwhelmingly positive response in today’s market.”

Solaia offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes with just seven private east-facing homes per floor. Most residences have private outdoor space and a select number of two-bedroom homes includes a den. The residences are available for immediate occupancy and priced starting in the $600,000s with incredible limited time incentives.

Designed by architectural firm Architectura and curated by Doni Douglas, Solaia fully maximizes its natural surroundings and unique location with dramatic Hudson River and New York City skyline views.

The indoor and outdoor amenities at Solaia deliver a spa-inspired lifestyle that’s unlike any other found in the region. Designed to provide the perfect balance between health and wellness, the full suite of recreational and social amenities is highlighted by the Sanctuary, a three-story wellness center dedicated to rejuvenation and active lifestyles, for exclusive use of the residents and their guests.

Other amenities include a coworking space with private conference room, and resident lounge featuring a fireplace, billiards, demonstration kitchen and event space. Outside, there’s also a dog run and a cliffside roof deck with a custom outdoor kitchen, barbecues, dining areas, firepits and lounge seating.
