The 24-hour sports network will open its new headquarters at the metroburb

Somerset Development signed a long-term lease with SportsGrid Inc. at Bell Works in Holmdel, according to a Tuesday announcement from the developer.

The 24-hour sports network is a linear ad-supported program service providing real-time news reporting coverage of pre- and in-game odds, data, stats and gaming intelligence across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, college sports, golf, tennis and soccer. The network features live and original programming serving the fanatical sports enthusiast with expert analysis and interviews from best-in-class sports analysts.

“We’re always looking to welcome a diverse range of tenants to our Bell Works community, and we’re confident SportsGrid will be a great addition to our fantastic roster of tenants,” said Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development. “The many workers, shoppers and other visitors to the metroburb will soon find a new attraction as they wait to see which star athletes might walk through our doors.”

“We are excited to bring the SportsGrid content factory to Bell Works, with innovative solutions to produce from the new studios or remotely from various locations,” said Mike Cardano, vice president-operations at SportsGrid. “We want to develop a new hybrid way of producing and delivering live sports content embracing innovative technology solutions.”

The location, with proximity to New York, Philadelphia and Atlantic City, proved to be a perfect fit for SportsGrid’s talent, management team, employees and for its coverage of major sports events.

SportsGrid, which produces 18 hours of live programming, is available for streaming on Roku, Samsung, LG, TCL and VIZIO connected smart TVs, along with OTT platforms including Xumo, STIRR, SlingTV, PlexTV and others. In addition, SportsGrid Radio is available 24/7 on SiriusXM Channel 159 along with a sports commentary show on YouTube and other platforms. SportsGrid focuses 85% of its coverage on sports wagering, and 15% on daily fantasy sports analysis.

In addition to its new Holmdel location, the entertainment company also maintains a location in New York City, inside the Versa restaurant adjacent to Madison Square Garden located inside the Renaissance Hotel. The Versa restaurant is the New York City Midtown location of SportsGrid’s Studio 34, where sports fans can witness live interviews and commentary from well-known sports stars and personalities.
