EisnerAmper names Environment, Social and Governance director

EisnerAmper LLP, the business advisory firm with a major presence in New Jersey, has announced that it named Danielle Barrs as the director of ESG strategic solutions.

ESG is the firm’s Environment, Social and Governance group, which EisnerAmper launched last year to help companies evaluate and develop ESG strategies.

Barrs will work with clients to solve key variables in the sustainability equation, including carbon emissions, energy efficiency, clean energy, ESG performance, capital investment and societal impact. She will develop enterprise climate and sustainability objectives for clients that align with each company’s corporate strategy by developing a tailored, long-term sustainability roadmap and guiding them through implementation. Additionally, Barrs will help train clients on ESG best practices.

With more than 10 years of experience in this burgeoning discipline, Barrs has worked with Fortune 500 companies, nongovernmental organizations and governmental organizations. Prior to joining the firm, she was the head of global energy and greenhouse gas strategy for a Fortune 200 manufacturing company and managed all energy-related initiatives for 100-plus facilities in more than 30 countries — from RFPs to project management, budget forecasts, ESG KPIs and CSR reporting.
