RIPCO Real Estate said Wednesday that Foster Village, a retail shopping center in Bergenfield, is now 100% leased, as Aldi, Taco Bell and Dollar General have signed on to an already impressive roster of tenants.

Located at 469 S. Washington Ave., the center totals 71,565 square feet and sits at the intersection of South Washington Ave. and New Bridge Road. It has a high traffic count, which is a perfect way to attract consumers to these retailers.

Curtis Nassau and Colby Piper of RIPCO represented the landlord in the transactions.

Notable tenants that helped to bring the center to 100% leased include:

  • ALDI, a supermarket chain known for low prices and award-winning products, signed a 20,900 square-foot deal;
  • Dollar General, a bargain retail chain selling a range of household goods and beauty products, signed a 9,500 square-foot deal;
  • Aloha Krab Cajun Seafood and Bar, a Cajun restaurant that offers authentic dishes and a lively environment, signed a 5,200 square-foot deal;
  • Taco Bell, a company that specializes in fast casual dining, signed a 2,000 square-foot deal.

“While stores have closed due to the pandemic, we have seen a strong return in retail with this fully occupied center,” said Piper, a leasing specialist at RIPCO.

Other tenants at the center include Francy’s Artisanal Ice Cream, Kudos Society, BurgerIM, Little T’s Closet, This Is It Hair Studio and Curated Boutique.
