Prager Metis names new partners — 2 from N.J.

Leading accounting and advisory firm Prager Metis, which has offices in North America (including a heavy presence in New Jersey), Europe, Asia and the Metaverse, announced on Monday that Jackie Bai and Corey Neubauer, who both work out of the Hackensack office, and have been elevated to partner, effective Jan. 1.

Scott Davis, who is with the D.C. Metro office, also was elevated to partner.

Bai specializes in financial auditing, primarily for public companies with international clients. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin and demonstrates her commitment to her Chinese-speaking clients by communicating and providing them with documents in both English and Chinese, and making herself available to during their working hours in China.

Neubauer has over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, with an expertise in issues relating to bankruptcy and insolvency, representing Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 trustees, creditors and debtors. In addition, he provides accounting services for bankruptcy estates, compliance services and tax services related to discharge of indebtedness. Neubauer also advises and services personal and corporate clients in all aspects of their business and accounting needs.

Davis, who will serve as partner-in-charge of Prager Metis’ not-for-profit services, specializes in working with nonprofit and government organizations. He has extensive experience in all phases of the audit process, including the planning and design of the audit approach, supervision and review, preparation of management recommendations and financial reporting.
