Avison Young, through a collaboration of its New Jersey and Minnesota offices, arranged a new 27,381-square-foot lease for Restaurant Technologies at Ridge Crossing Industrial Park in Kearny, according to a Thursday announcement.
As the leading provider of cooking oil management and back-of-house cleaning solutions, Restaurant Technologies’ new lease underscores the current flight to quality trend in the market, with the company relocating from a Class C to Class A property. It plans to utilize its new location at 590 Belleville Turnpike as its regional depot to service the northern New Jersey and the New York Metro areas.
Avison Young New Jersey-based Senior Vice Presidents Timothy Cadigan and Matthew Turse and New Jersey-based associate Grant Otto, in collaboration with Minneapolis-based Principal Mark Evenson and Minneapolis-based Vice President Chas Simcox represented Restaurant Technologies in the negotiations. The landlord, Ride Crossing 6-2 Urban Renewal LLC, was represented by Steve Elman of Cushman & Wakefield.
“Through the combined efforts of the Avison Young Minnesota office’s longstanding relationship with Restaurant Technologies and our New Jersey office’s deep understanding of the local industrial market, we were able to find a great long-term relocation option for the company in northern New Jersey that seamlessly aligned with their expansion requirements,” Cadigan said.
