Onyx Equities’ NOMA in Ridgewood opens with swift leasing pace (SLIDESHOW)

Developer Onyx Equities‘ most recent new-construction apartment opportunities in Ridgewood, NOMA, launched leasing just two weeks ago and is already past the 40% mark.

With the onsite leasing office now officially open to the public and accepting appointments, the intimate collection of just 39 luxury residences complemented by a “country club” collection of lifestyle amenities has quickly become one of Bergen County’s most in-demand addresses.

A successor to the wildly successful sister community, the Benjamin, which leased up this past spring in just 50 days, renters are quickly taking advantage of the one- and two-bedroom residences that seamlessly connect with the surrounding neighborhood, all located moments from the Ridgewood train station.

“There has been incredible pent-up demand for these residences,” said John Saraceno Jr., co-founder and managing principal at Onyx Equities and Onyx Living. “Ridgewood is a one-of-a-kind town, and this building has been custom designed to elevate the experience of living here.”

The NOMA residences, he said, will feature 9- to 10-foot ceilings, open-concept layouts with walnut plank flooring, STRATIS smart home technology, custom modular closets and an in-home washer & dryer. Modern kitchens will provide the best of form and function, with white quartz counters, stainless-steel appliances, sprawling breakfast bars, custom European cabinets and wine storage. The spa-like bathrooms will have full-height tiled wet walls, white quartz counters, frameless glass showers and back-lit vanity mirrors. For those seeking extra space, larger den layouts will be available and select homes will offer private outdoor space.

Beyond the ideal at-home environment, NOMA provides an all-inclusive lifestyle like no other through its robust amenity package, including a commercial-grade Matrix fitness center, a yoga studio with virtual training technology, resident lounge with billiards and shuffleboard, a golf simulator, coworking spaces and a lush rooftop lounge featuring an outdoor bar, green lawn with a movie screen, and a private party area. The community also includes on-site covered parking, controlled access, resident storage, package delivery lockers, bicycle storage and a pet spa.

“We made the design decision to make our amenity spaces larger than people might expect of a multifamily community to appeal to demographics including long-term Ridgewood residents who want to stay in Ridgewood without compromising the creature comforts they’re used to,” continued Saraceno.

NOMA is located at 48 N. Maple St. between East Ridgewood and Franklin Avenue in the heart of the village and offers convenient access to Ridgewood Train Station, a hub for New Jersey Transit along the Bergen County Line offering quick access into Manhattan in approximately 40 minutes. On-site leasing will be led by the Marketing Directors.
