Starting Strength Gyms, an Eagle, Idaho-based national boutique fitness franchise, has retained CBRE as its exclusive agent to create and execute an expansion program throughout the U.S., including utilizing the East Brunswick-based team.
The franchise company, which currently has 14 gyms open, with another 13 coming soon, is looking to expand in an additional 20 key markets throughout 2022 alone.
CBRE’s Joseph AmecAngelo, along with colleague Daniel Duque of the firm’s Atlanta office, will oversee the targeted leasing campaign on behalf of Starting Strength Gyms.
“We look forward to working closely with Starting Strength Gyms to strategically expand the franchise into 100 locations over the next five years,” said AmecAngelo. “Our global platform and extensive knowledge of each market around the country will allow us to help our client reach their goals in creating a recognizable national brand.”
“Through a collaborative approach, CBRE will target retail space in highly trafficked areas that best meet the requirements of Starting Strength Gyms,” added Duque. “We are currently looking at well-located retail space between 1,100 square feet and 2,100 square feet in urban markets with high visibility.”
