Verisk, the fast-growing global data analytics company based in Jersey City, has unveiled a new logo, new brand messaging and new names for some of its divisions.
For starters, the company’s insurance businesses and solutions — including ISO, AIR Worldwide, Sequel, Xactware, FAST and ISO Claims Partners — will transition away from their independent company names and become Verisk.
The new logo features a light blue “V” in the shape of a square root, symbolizing the company’s analytical precision, amid a series of horizontal dark blue lines flowing out of a globe.
The new branding better defines and describes the company’s vision and mission:
- What we deliver: Analytic insights for better tomorrows.
- Why we exist: To facilitate a better, more resilient and sustainable tomorrow for customers and societies.
- What we do and why we do it: By integrating advanced technology, data and platformed analytics with expert interpretation, we provide critical business insights to tackle some of today’s most significant global issues.
Chief Operating Officer and Group President Mark Anquillare said the update reflects Verisk’s growth as a global company.

More than 70% of the Fortune 100 use its advanced technologies to manage risks, make better decisions and improve operating efficiency.
The company says its analytic solutions are meant to address insurance underwriting and claims, fraud, regulatory compliance, natural resources, catastrophes, economic forecasting, geopolitical risks, as well as environmental, social and governance matters.

Verisk, which is approaching $3 billion in revenue, is one of the fastest-growing companies in the state. It reportedly had a global revenue of $2.94 billion in 2021. The company is believed to have passed over the $1 billion mark in 2009 and had steady growth since.
Verisk currently has more than 9,000 team members across nearly 35 countries.
While much of its growth has come in the past decade — when the demand for data analytics has soared — the company recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. It opened in 1971 as an insurance rating bureau, focusing on risk analytics and insights.
Since then, it has grown to become a source of insights that have proven to be able to drive recovery and transform industries worldwide.
