N.J. real estate investment firm buys 310K sq. ft. Conn. office building

BDP Holdings, a Montclair-based real estate investment company, has acquired a Class A office building in Shelton, Connecticut, it announced Tuesday.

The company said the 310,000-square-foot facility at 27 and 35 Waterview Drive, in Fairfield County, is 100% leased to shipping technology company Pitney Bowes Inc.

“The location at Waterview Drive is 100% leased to Pitney Bowes and just a short commute from the company’s (Stamford) headquarters,” Dennis Lim, principal with BDP Holdings, said in a prepared statement. “Pitney Bowes is a well-established industry leader with a long track record of success whose revenues have only continued to grow over the last 24 months. We are thrilled to have acquired such a desirable property, located in such an affluent and scenic location as Fairfield County.”

The transaction represents BDP’s fifth investment in the New York City metropolitan area, it said.
