Wesley and Bridget Wilcox named partners at G.S. Wilcox & Co.

Ensuring that the leadership of G.S. Wilcox & Co. will transfer to the next generation, the firm announced Monday that Wesley Wilcox and Bridget Wilcox have been promoted to partner.

In their new management roles, they will focus on continuing the exceptional customer service of the firm and expanding its lending platform and client base.

Gretchen Wilcox, who founded the company in 1994 and remains its president, said she was thrilled to make the announcement.

“I am personally very proud to announce the dual promotions of my children, as we now enter the second generation of ownership,” she said. “Establishing the firm almost 30 years ago, it is special to have them help grow the firm into the future.”

Wesley Wilcox joined the firm in 2016 after having worked at both CBRE and Merrill Lynch. Since joining G.S. Wilcox & Co., he has been instrumental in growing the firm’s client base and currently monitors all marketing and hiring efforts. He is also very involved with the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP, where he serves as a trustee for the New Jersey chapter.

“I am truly honored to be named partner to G.S. Wilcox & Co,” he said. “Our mother has established such a strong foundation and I look forward to working with my sister, Bridget Wilcox, as well as the rest of the G.S. Wilcox team to continue the legacy and success of our firm.”

Bridget Wilcox joined the firm in 2019, after working at Loews Corp. and UBS in New York City.

At G.S. Wilcox & Co., she has expanded the firm’s client base, is tasked with leading the family’s investment efforts and monitors the operations of the firm. An active member of NAIOP and ULI, she also is a board member of Morris Arts and sits on the advisory board of Investors Bank.

“I am excited to continue to work closely with my mother and brother to lead the firm,” she said. “It is not every day that you get to work with family, and we are very lucky to do so.”
