Summit Health inks final space in Fair Lawn office building

Keystone Development + Investment helped facilitate a lease for 70,594 square feet with Summit Health at 17-17 Route 208 N. in Fair Lawn, according to a Tuesday announcement. The agreement brings the Class A office building to 100% leased.

The lease enables Summit Health to consolidate numerous practices to more effectively and efficiently deliver comprehensive medical care.

“Securing this kind of location makes it possible for Summit Health to expand upon the services currently offered. This strategic real estate initiative highlights Summit Health’s goal of providing unparalleled care for our patients,” Vice President, Real Estate Development, for Summit Health Steven Westort said.

Keystone acquired 17-17 Route 208 in 2014 as part of a $230.8 million portfolio it purchased from Mack-Cali Realty Corp.. Since that time, Keystone completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, including a new roof, parking lot and high-performance exterior coating. The building, situated adjacent to Fair Lawn Promenade, also features new elevators, on-site property management and walkable amenities.

“The thoughtful improvements we’ve made have created prompt demand for 17-17 Route 208, and this lease validates it as a premier location for a health care provider like Summit Health,” said Keystone’s president and chief operating officer, Rich Gottlieb.

The lease will commence on July 1, with Summit Health opening its medical site in Q2 2023. Marc Rosenberg of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant and Sam Horowitz and Michael Tesser of Colliers represented the landlord.
