Hao focuses his practice on patent prosecution, infringement and validity studies, freedom-to-practice studies and design-around analyses. He provides a full range of patent law services to clients, including developing and managing their worldwide patent portfolios, assisting in patent matters and due diligence in connection with strategic alliances, technology transfer transactions & licensing, investments, mergers and acquisitions.
Marie Jiacopello Jones, a partner and co-chair of the Gaming Law Practice at Fox Rothschild, was named the firm’s Atlantic City office managing partner. Jones counsels clients in all aspects of gaming law and regulation, licensing and compliance. She helps gaming industry clients and vendors work with domestic and foreign regulatory agencies — including the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board — to obtain and maintain licenses and earn regulatory approval to own, develop and operate brick-and-mortar casinos and internet gaming operations.
“Department leaders, office managing partners and practice group chairs play a pivotal role in helping us plan and execute the firm’s strategic initiatives. Our outgoing leadership has done a superb job in that regard,” Firmwide Managing Partner Mark L. Morris said.
Morris noted that the changes are part of standard leadership rotation.
“I am confident that our new leadership will continue to build on our deep commitment to client service throughout our national network of offices,” Morris said.
