Newark Beth Israel Medical Center was recently awarded Platinum Level recognition for its efforts to increase enrollment in the New Jersey state donor registry and spread the life-saving message of organ and tissue donation awareness.
“Newark Beth Israel is honored to receive this recognition and committed to delivering life-saving transplants, as one of the Top 15 heart transplant programs in the nation and the only lung transplant program in New Jersey,” said Darrell Terry, CEO and president, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey.
