Curcio Mirzaian Sirot of Roseland launches new Family Law practice

Jessica Swenson joins as partner and chair of new practice area

Curcio Mirzaian Sirot LLC on Monday announced an expansion with the launch of a new Family Law practice group. Additionally, the Roseland-based firm also announced that Jessica Swenson has joined as a partner and will chair the new practice area.

Swenson previously was a partner at Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark LLC.

“Our new Family Law practice is the third practice area we have added in under a year, as we strive to provide holistic solutions to meet growing business and consumer client needs. Jessica is a seasoned family law attorney who has dedicated her career to all aspects of family and matrimonial law, and we look forward to working with our new partner,” Benjamin Curcio, founder and litigation chair, said.

Swenson brings nearly 15 years’ experience to Curcio Mirzaian Sirot, where she will focus her practice on all aspects of matrimonial and family law. She is trained in Collaborative Law and is a Rule 1:40-1 Approved Family Law Mediator. In addition to her previously held position with Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, LLC, Swenson also worked at Cipriano Law Offices and Fox and Fox LLP, as well as clerked for the Hon. Michael Diamond and the Hon. George Sabbath in the Passaic County Superior Court, Family Division. A volunteer attorney for the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Projects, a joint program of the Morris County Bar Association and the Jersey Battered Women’s Service, she is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court.

Swenson earned a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and a B.A. from Rutgers University.
