Colliers said it helped facilitate a lease renewal and expansion totaling 28,000 square feet of space for Invitae, a cutting-edge medical genetic testing company, in Iselin.
The 10-year lease at Woodbridge Corporate Plaza will add 13,500 square feet of new space to accommodate the company’s growth, providing additional research and development areas as well as room for new offices.
A Colliers team led by Executive Managing Director Charlie Hatfield represented the tenant in the transaction.
Located at 485F Route 1 S. within Woodbridge Corporate Plaza, a six-building, amenity-rich office complex totaling over 630,000 square feet, the Class A building was renovated in 2016 and offers tenants an upscale corporate campus environment with several amenities, including a new high-end fitness center with shower facilities, conference and training center, full-service café with catering and delivery, a dry cleaner and outdoor seating.
Run by Northeast Capital Group, a leading private equity investment group and full-service real estate firm, the property’s buildings also feature beautiful and modern lobbies, high ceilings, ample natural light and a property manager on site.
