RIVET 26 nears full residential and retail occupancy

RIVET 26, Jersey City’s newest West Side luxury apartment development, is approaching 100% occupancy of its 199 residences and 10,000 square feet of ground-level retail, which has recently welcomed BK Lobster and Qua’s Creative Art Center, according to a Thursday announcement from its developers, the Hampshire Cos., Claremont Development and Circle Squared Alternative Investments.

Located at 26 University Place Blvd., RIVET 26’s blend of 84 studio apartments, 102 one-bedroom and 13 two-bedroom units and adaptable ground-level retail spaces are the latest additions to the University Place neighborhood, a visionary mixed-use master plan to create a dynamic and walkable neighborhood in Jersey City’s west end.

Developed in conjunction with New Jersey City University and Jersey City, University Place includes the construction of eight buildings, 1,000 new luxury rental residences and access to more than 120,000 square feet of retail, a performing arts center, cafes, theaters and lush green space.

“The success of University Place continues to highlight the limitless potential of collaborative real estate investment to create in-demand spaces for residents and businesses alike,” James Hanson II, CEO and president of the Hampshire Cos., said. “We look forward to building upon this success with our project partners as we continue to bring our vision to life for Jersey City’s most exciting new neighborhood.”

The two buildings feature unmatched accessibility that also places them at the gateway for the entire New York City metropolitan area. The buildings are located one-third of a mile from a Bergen Hudson Light Rail stop, providing access to the Hackensack River Waterfront and Hoboken, as well as the opportunity to transfer to the PATH train for easy access to New York City. In addition to Bergen Hudson Light Rail accessibility, RIVET 26 and RIVET also offer a complimentary direct shuttle service to the Journal Square PATH Station.

Residents also enjoy access to an extraordinary 75,000 square feet of shared lifestyle amenities across the two communities. Beginning with RIVET’s landscaped sun terrace, featuring an outdoor bar, firepits, turf lawn and lounge seating, and private BBQ and dining areas, residents have no shortage of spaces to enjoy in the summer and fall months ahead.

Boasting a similarly expansive indoor amenity package, RIVET 26 features multiple entertainment lounges, a billiards room with a fireplace and bar, a coffee bar, a pet spa and a coworking lounge with private offices perfect for remote work. The community’s all-inclusive fitness center also includes a dedicated yoga and spin studio with virtual training technology. The properties boast two bike terminals, 322 structured parking spaces and street parking to further complement the transportation options available for commuters.

Residents at both buildings also enjoy peace of mind as the building boasts 24/7 onsite maintenance as well as a Butterfly MX virtual entry system, private resident storage and a package concierge.

Property management services for RIVET 26 are exclusively provided by RHO Residential.
