NJM Insurance Group is now writing commercial package policies in New Jersey with policy effective dates beginning July 1, the company announced Wednesday.

The NJM ProPack Commercial Package Policy protects mid- to large-sized businesses against property and liability risks, including crime, inland marine and industry-specific coverages. Highlights of the policy include:

  • Property extension endorsements to better protect real estate, business personal property and business income;
  • General liability enhancement endorsements for construction, manufacturing and all other industries;
  • Optional coverages for equipment breakdown, employment practices liability insurance, professional liability, contractors’ errors & omissions, and cyberinsurance.

In addition, ProPack policyholders who need higher limits of liability protection are eligible to apply for NJM’s Commercial Excess and Umbrella insurance.

NJM CEO Mitch Livingston said the new product launch is the culmination of NJM’s multiyear strategic plan to meet all of the insurance needs of businesses throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

“For over a century, NJM has been New Jersey’s premier workers’ compensation insurer, with a reputation for providing superior service and value to policyholders,” he said. “We are pleased to offer that same commitment to businesses in need of a commercial package policy throughout our region.”

Businesses can apply for ProPack by connecting with a Premier agent at njm.com/agent.

“ProPack CPP unites NJM’s legacy of safety, service and customer satisfaction with businesses’ property and liability insurance needs,” Arjay Pedalino, vice president of commercial lines, said. “We are excited to offer this total account solution for businesses in the region exclusively through our preferred network of distribution partners.”
