Lindabury names Levine its new president

Westfield-based firm also announces Vir has been named executive vice president

Longtime Partner Eric Levine has been named the new president of Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper P.C., the firm announced Monday.

The Westfield-based firm also announced that Monica Vir has been named the new executive vice president.

Levine, who is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and serves as co-chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice, is an accomplished litigator with significant courtroom experience as well as advocating for clients in mediations and arbitrations.

A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, Levine is a faculty presenter at Rutgers University and works closely with corporations to defend cyber-related crimes. He also serves as a trustee on the board of the United Way of Greater Union County.

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with our firm’s outstanding leadership team, as well as all of our highly dedicated attorneys and staff here at Lindabury, to continue our tradition of providing exemplary service to our clients throughout New Jersey and the mid-Atlantic region,” he said.

Vir is an accomplished corporate attorney who serves as co-chair of Lindabury’s Corporate and M&A Group and as a member of the firm’s Real Estate Services Group. She counsels both closely held family businesses and large national and international corporations as a trusted adviser.

A graduate of Rutgers Law School, Vir is a founding member of Lindabury’s Women’s Business Initiative and serves on the board of directors for HTTV in Summit.
