Vantage Commercial helped secure an industrial lease in Pennsauken for BookSmiles, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides new or gently used books to children throughout Philadelphia and New Jersey, according to a Friday announcement from the Cherry Hill-based brokerage.
Located at 7300 N. Crescent Blvd., the 4,300-square-foot space will serve as BookSmiles’ new headquarters within the Crescent Business Center. centrally in Pennsauken and in close proximity to the Betsy Ross Bridge as well as Routes 130, 73 and 90.
Mike Gries, adviser at Vantage Commercial, worked closely with BookSmiles’ founder, Larry Abrams, to identify an industrial property for the relocation.
“Our new location, it is a perfect match for our expanded needs,” Abrams said. “Since 2017, our mission has been to promote literacy and the joy of reading by giving books to children throughout Philadelphia and New Jersey. To date, we have donated over three-quarters of a million books and we are now positioned to keep growing.”
Gries was thrilled to deliver for the organization.
“Larry’s excitement and dedication to an important mission is infectious,” he said. “It was a joy committing myself to finding the right location for them in an exceptionally thin industrial market.”
