Former Big 4 Managing Director Keck joins Withum to lead cyber and information security practice

Withum, a top 25 public accounting and advisory firm, on Tuesday said it recently added experienced cybersecurity professional Ed Keck as a partner and market leader of the firm’s Cyber and Information Security Practice.

Keck joins Withum Partner Matthew Ferrante and the top-notch cyberservices team that he has built to continue to position Withum to be the “go-to” cybersecurity services provider, from cyberrisk mitigation to incident response and remediation. Cybersecurity for business is facing increasing demand due to a rise in cybercrime and executives’ desire for protection, fraud prevention and incident response. Withum is committed to continuing to expand its reach in this space.

“I am excited to begin the next chapter of my career and join the Withum team,” Keck said. “Cyberthreats continue to grow at an exponential rate, and security is top of mind for executives across all industries and markets. I am looking forward to working with the dynamic and highly skilled team at Withum to expand our service offerings and assist our clients.”

Bringing over 30 years of experience in cybersecurity to Withum’s advisory bench, Keck specializes in cybersecurity strategy, regulatory compliance, physical security and risk management for companies with domestic and international operations. A former managing director of a Cyber Practice at a Big 4 firm, Keck brings a tried and tenured voice to the team.

“We’re really looking forward to Ed joining our cyber advisory leadership team,” Jim Bourke, managing director of Withum’s Advisory Services Group, said. “Withum has seen ‘off-the-charts’ growth in cybersecurity. Ed’s addition to lead our cybersecurity initiatives will allow our firm to expand our existing offerings in this space to meet the growing needs of our prospects and clients.”
