Lakewood-based Beable Education has acquired a provider of science-based reading comprehension software, it announced this week.
The company said it will integrate Readorium’s standards-aligned content into its online Literacy Recovery Platform starting with the upcoming school year.
“Readorium has an extraordinary track record for effectively improving reading skills while teaching science,” Beable CEO Saki Dodelson said in a prepared statement. “It’s a perfect addition to the Beable platform, which uses academic content differentiated to each student’s reading level, targeted scaffolds and self-selected, high-interest readings to provide the time-on-task to drive literacy, content mastery and student agency.”
Financial terms were not disclosed.
