Farhat, who previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in New Jersey – serving as the office’s LGBTQ Special Emphasis Program Manager among other roles – recently was tabbed to take over the Proud Center at RWJ University Hospital Somerset, a model for offering specialized primary care services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and asexual community.
