As co-chief academic officer and vice president for academic diversity at Hackensack Meridian Health, his goal is to ensure the school has a diversity of students, staff and research projects. Diversity in the student body is necessary for the delivery of high-quality education and improves access to care for underserved populations. Diversity in the research workforce accelerates advances and brings a variety of thoughts and ideas to stimulate exploration and discovery.
