Shealey joined Rowan in 2013 as the dean of the College of Education, where she quickly led the college to deepen its commitment to social justice and equity by diversifying the teacher and faculty pipeline. In 2019, she was appointed to lead Rowan’s new Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, where she works closely with the university’s leadership to create a safe and welcoming environment for historically marginalized populations.
