In 2020, she helped launched the Social Justice Project, which was created to expand opportunities for pro bono work dedicated to dismantling structural racism. She also heads Women’s Initiative, an initiative which has helped McCarter receive Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum seemingly on an annual basis.
