Mattress Warehouse to open 1st Middlesex County location at North Brunswick property

Levin Management arranges 7,000 sq.ft. lease at North Village Shopping Center

Mattress Warehouse is opening its first Middlesex County location at North Village Shopping Center on Route 1, according to an announcement from Levin Management Corp., the exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 124,000-square-foot property.

LMC leasing representative Ed Vasconcellos III arranged the 7,000-square-foot, long-term lease on behalf of the property’s ownership. Gary Leone of CBRE represented the tenant.

“Mattress Warehouse had been pursuing a Route 1 location for quite some time,” Vasconcellos said. “North Village Shopping Center enjoys a tremendous amount of traffic on Route 1, with more than 100,000 cars passing the property every day. Its location also makes it easily accessible to nearby neighborhoods and Route 130.”

North Village Shopping Center is anchored by Trader Joe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond and Michaels Arts & Crafts. Other tenants at the property include Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House (coming soon), Staples, Ulta Beauty, Panera Bread, Smashburger, Chili’s and Lux Nails. North Village Shopping Center occupies a prime location on a main thoroughfare. The center serves a growing residential population of more than 260,000 people within a five-mile radius.
