Custom fabricator for creative markets relocates operations to state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield

The STRO Cos. together with Cushman & Wakefield on Monday announced they negotiated a lease signing with Showman Fabricators Inc. for 78,000 square feet of space in Fairfield.

Located at 15 Law Drive, just off Route 46 and near Interstate 80, the newly renovated facility provides over 18-foot clear ceilings, four loading docks and excellent connectivity to the New York metro area.

“15 Law Drive has been two years in the making for ownership and is a perfect case study for the transition of flex/office buildings to industrial space,” STRO Director of Leasing Elliot Ferris said. “Showman Fabricators was an ideal tenant for the building. Their speed, knowledge and strength in their sector made them desirable tenant for us to have in our portfolio.”

Showman founder and President Bob Usdin said: “We are thrilled to be moving into this facility, which will bring all our fabrication capabilities into a beautifully modern facility. This new setting will allow us to better suit our luxury brand and top-tier clientele.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s Chuck Fern, Thomas Tucci, Torsten Thaler and Natalie Gorga represented both Showman and the landlord in the transaction.

“This was a successful team effort from all parties involved. Our proactive approach was key to facilitating this long-term relationship in an active industrial market that continues to be tight,” Thaler stated.
