NAI Hanson negotiates lease to help bring national logistics firm to N.J.

NAI James E. Hanson negotiated a lease for 57,076 square feet of industrial space at 450 Murray Hill Parkway in East Rutherford.

NAI Hanson’s Scott Perkins, Chris Todd and William Ericksen represented the tenant, Temco Logistics. The landlord, Safer Development & Management, was represented by its senior vice president, marketing & leasing, Monte Radfar, and Eric Lewin of Team Resources.

Based in Pomona, California, Temco Logistics is a premier provider of white-glove home goods delivery and installation solutions across the nation. With millions of home deliveries performed each year for some of America’s largest retailers, Temco Logistics continues to innovate and provide world-class final mile delivery and installation services. As the company sought to grow in the New York City metropolitan area, it tapped NAI James E. Hanson to identify an adaptable and well-located space in northern New Jersey.

Spanning 340,000 square feet, the building is less than a mile from the Metlife Stadium sports complex and provides easy access to the tri-state area via the nearby New Jersey Turnpike and superior regional connectivity provided by local highways such as Routes 3, 17, 21 and 46. Temco Logistics’ new space boasts 24-foot clear ceiling heights, five tailboards, two drive-ins and 4,700 square feet of office space.

“While the northern New Jersey industrial market is exceedingly tight right now, spaces are available if you know where to look,” Perkins said. “However, competition for these rare spaces can often be high. In these current conditions, our experience, local contacts and ability to move quickly have been critical in helping clients like Temco Logistics secure space that aligns with their businesses’ exact needs and budgets.”
