Trinity Rehab to open new state-of-the-art physical therapy facility in Flemington

Trinity Rehab on Wednesday said it is opening its newest location on Wednesday in Flemington.

Conveniently located in the Flemington Circle Shopping Center at 276 U.S. Highway 202, the facility will be led by Regional Director Kathryn del Prado, a skilled physical therapist and board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist who has been with Trinity Rehab for more than six years.

Trinity Rehab combines state-of-the-art technology and a teamwork-oriented, customized treatment plan designed to provide patient-centric treatments for neck and back pain, sports-related injuries, post-operative rehab, auto or work accidents, arthritis and other common injuries and conditions. This is complemented by established programs for specific issues, such as hand therapy, shoulder/rotator cuff injuries and balance/vestibular disorders, along with preventative techniques to improve balance and protect against falls.

Inherent in the Trinity Rehab approach is the company’s commitment to use cutting-edge technologies, which includes the highly effective, non-invasive Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment system, which utilizes a unique set of pressure waves to stimulate metabolism, enhance blood circulation and accelerate the healing process without anesthesia or risk of infection for a variety of musculoskeletal issues. Research has shown that more than 80% of patients experience significant pain relief after three or four treatments.

For rehabilitation and training, Trinity Rehab uses the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill. Developed by NASA, this equipment has revolutionized physical rehabilitation by reducing body weight to allow walking, running and exercising while minimizing pain, stress and strain to the joints and muscles.

“A strong team is key when it comes to physical therapy and includes building trusted relationships with patients,” Del Prado stated.  “To do this, I take a highly personal approach — one in which each treatment plan is specifically designed for the individual — and create an enjoyable rehabilitative atmosphere. Together, this makes for the most successful road to recovery.”
