Woodmont Properties expands team with 5 key hires

Woodmont Properties on Tuesday announced five new hires across its multifamily development, industrial, legal and marketing teams at its Fairfield office. They join the company amid a period of immense growth and success, including the opening of the Waterton, a luxury apartment community in Secaucus.

The individuals and their titles are as follows: Michael Palmer, vice president of development; Keith Meehan, director of industrial construction; Christine Marsh, real estate paralegal; Ty’ya Givens, digital marketing and social media manager; and Padraig Ryan, marketing specialist.

“We’re thrilled to welcome five new team members to the Woodmont family,” said Eric Witmondt, Woodmont Properties’ CEO. “We’ve seen firsthand how attracting and retaining top-tier people contributes to our growth strategy, and we have no doubt that the unique skills of Michael, Keith, Christine, Ty’ya and Padraig will further contribute to this positive trajectory.”

As vice president of development, Palmer brings with him comprehensive expertise in land acquisition and development, from initial sourcing and contract negotiations to site development and operations management. His creative and entrepreneurial talents have led to the development of a diverse portfolio of projects, including urban and suburban multifamily, single family and townhome, and a unique selection of adult single and multifamily communities. Prior to joining Woodmont, he served as an executive at notable real estate development companies throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and beyond, such as Toll Bros. and Orleans Home Builders.

The new director of industrial construction, Meehan, is a seasoned professional with experience spanning both commercial and residential construction and development. His career includes project management and development. Among his previous roles, he served as a senior project manager at Duke Realty Corp.; vice president and Northeast market lead at PREMIER Design + Build Group; and project manager at REDCOM Design & Construction. In his new role at Woodmont, he oversees the robust pipeline of approximately 5 million square feet of industrial projects slated for commencement over the next 24 months in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Marsh joins Woodmont as a real estate paralegal and assists with legalities and regulatory compliance at all stages of the real estate ownership and development process. Having previously worked as a paralegal for firms specializing in health law and civil rights violations, she brings a diverse background, cross-industry knowledge and a unique skillset to the team. She holds bachelor’s degrees in philosophy, German studies and environmental studies from the University of Richmond.

As Woodmont’s digital marketing and social media manager, Givens brings with her a wealth of knowledge gleaned from over a decade of experience in the real estate industry. Her unique professional and educational background in data analysis contributes to her knowledge in marketing and brand strategy, with the goal of strengthening Woodmont’s presence within the digital space.

As marketing specialist, Ryan leverages his seven-plus years of marketing experience to develop and communicate Woodmont’s strategy and multifamily offerings on a broad scale. His professional expertise encompasses digital and print content development, online content creation, website development, project management, design, photography, videography and branding. Prior to joining Woodmont, he worked with the New Jersey Builders Association and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

“Bringing on new team members allows Woodmont to sustain its momentum, and further support the robust pipeline of projects we have ahead of us,” Lewis Zlotnick, Woodmont Properties’ president, stated. “We’re so pleased to have these talented individuals join the team and look forward to their valued contributions in multiple segments of our business.”
