In a move that shows the growing depth of Provident Bank in the state, the bank announced this week that SB One Insurance Agency is rebranding as Provident Protection Plus.
Augusta-based SB One Insurance Agency has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Provident Bank since SB One Bank merged with Provident Bank in the summer of 2020.
Provident officials said the change not only aligns the agency’s name with its parent company, but it reflects its commitment to providing businesses and consumers with access to a full suite of financial products and services.
Provident Protection Plus CEO George Lista is happy for the move – but noted the only change customers will see is in the name.
“Customers can rest assured there will be no changes to the friendly and knowledgeable service they’ve relied on from the people they’ve come to know and trust,” he said. “We’ll continue to provide the most innovative and trusted insurance solutions.”
To celebrate the rebranding, a reception and ribbon cutting were held at Provident Protection Plus’s headquarters – during which the company presented a $2,500 check to the Frankford Township Fire Department.
