A group of businesses in Runnemede announced on Friday that they joined together to form the new Runnemede Chamber of Commerce.
“The businesses of Runnemede and the surrounding area need a collective voice to represent them to local government, as well as to the world what a wonderful place Runnemede is to live, shop, eat, and do business.” Interim Vice President, Russell Burt said in a prepared statement.
“Both our elected officials and groups of local businesses have expressed an interest in doing this for several years. It has been a lot of work to set up, but we believe the impact and benefit to all of our local businesses will be significant.” Burt added.
Runnemede is located in South Jersey, near every major crossroad North and South, East and West at Exit 3 with access to Routes 42, 76, 295, Atlantic City Expressway, and just 7 minutes across either the Ben Franklin or Walt Whitman Bridges into Philadelphia and Interstate-95.
