Spiezle Architectural Group promotes 28-year veteran to associate principal

Spiezle Architectural Group announce that Tony Catana has been promoted to associate principal.

Catana joined the Hamilton-based architectural firm in 1994 as a designer, and through the years has grown into a project architect, project manager, and director of building technology.

Throughout his time at Spiezle, Catana has led more than 800 projects, and built long-lasting client relationships. His comprehensive knowledge of building codes has led to his involvement in the approval of several code additions to the International Code Council’s Green Codes, Commissioning Guidelines, and Administrative Codes.

“Promoting someone of Tony’s stature is a testament to his outstanding work at Spiezle,” Thomas Perrino, president, and CEO at Spiezle stated. “We’ve been fortunate to have grown substantially, in large part because of leaders like Tony. He embodies the firm’s ethos of taking care of our people and providing strong resources to our clients. We’re excited to announce this promotion.”

“Working at Spiezle for nearly 30-years has been rewarding and a highlight of my career,” Catana said. “I welcome this new role as I continue my career and lend my knowledge, leadership, and design philosophy to the firm’s clients and employees.”
