NAI Hanson negotiates lease within new industrial building in Sparta

NAI James E. Hanson on Thursday said it negotiated the lease of 12,920 square feet of industrial space at 6 Aaron Way in Sparta.

Strategically located in White Lake Commerce Park, Sparta’s newest and most successful industrial development, 6 Aaron Way is a brand-new 27,000-square-foot industrial building with 24-foot clear ceilings, no columns, nine 14-foot drive-in doors and two tailgate loading dock. It offers convenient access to Routes 15 and 206 and Interstate 80.

Hanson’s John Schilp represented both the landlord, 6 Aaron Way LLC, and the tenant, healthy snack and beverage company Organic Gemini, in the transaction. Organic Gemini plans to leverage the building’s state-of-the-art features, size and proximity to its target clientele to create a warehouse and distribution depot for its superfood products.

The transaction highlights Schilp’s continued role in the creation of the White Lake Commerce Park. Beginning in 2019, he was retained to facilitate the sale of the 12 lots making up the White Lake Commerce Park. With the sale of the last lot closing in 2019, Schilp has now brought several developers to the White Lake Commerce Center to construct owner-occupied and spec industrial buildings ranging in size from 10,000 to 40,000 square feet.

“The strong leasing activity at White Lake Commerce Park illustrates the continued emergence of the Sparta industrial market,” Schilp said. “Within this market, brand new, state-of-the-art properties such as 6 Aaron Way continue to stand out and will be key in attracting high-quality tenants to build upon the market’s momentum in the months to come.”
