Hoagland has spent his entire legal career at his firm, the last 15 of which were as managing partner, following in the steps of his late father, John J. Hoagland, who founded the firm in 1977. … Beyond firm leadership, he supports and leads several local organizations that benefit residents and nearby communities: He is chairman of the Metuchen Community Services Corp. and vice chairman of the New Brunswick Cultural Center (he participated in the creation of the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center). He also played a leading role in the formation of the Central Jersey Spinal Cord Association.
