WEforum to host ‘Beach Crawl’ in Long Branch to benefit Monmouth Medical Center

WEforum 2022 Beach Crawl is coming to the Jersey Shore. This year, WEforum’s Move for Life pillar, which encourages people to get active, will be held on the sand right next to the Wave Resort in Long Branch on Sept. 22.

“The fit crawl is an integral part of our mission because it highlights (exercise), whether it be a walk or a super intense workout,” WEforum founder Carolyn DeSena stated. “Movement is one of the most important factors to maintaining overall health.”

The event brings together multiple fitness studios, athletes and mind-body professionals for 35-minute workouts, with options ranging from bootcamp to barre, with lots of yoga, Pilates, strength and toning in between. With 10 to 15 workouts to choose from, happening at regular intervals between 8:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., the WEforum group is primed and ready to welcome as many participants as possible, while highlighting small business owners, community leaders, wellness professionals, educators and organizations who promote a culture of healthy living.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. All attendees are welcome to try as many classes as they wish, and join WEforum for a post-crawl party, starting right after the last workout ends.

Drinks and light bites from some of your favorite local spots will be available, as well as lots of time for socializing in the sun. This fun beach day ticket is only $50, with all the proceeds benefiting Monmouth Medical Center and the hospital’s Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center in Eatontown.

The Beach Crawl will occur rain or shine, with the Wave Resort providing indoor accommodation if needed. For tickets and for more information, click here.
