EAD Engineering, looking to expand, opens 1st office in N.J.

Global firm taps Parsippany as its Northeastern regional office

EAD Engineering, a global engineering firm based in Omaha, Nebraska, with clients in the pharmaceutical, bioprocessing, chemical manufacturing, food and parcel/logistics industries, opened its first location in New Jersey on Tuesday, taking space in Parsippany.

Sally White will serve as managing director at the office, which will be EAD’s Northeastern U.S. regional office.

The decision to come to New Jersey came after much consideration. Company officials said EAD conducted extensive research, which included evaluating several other cities within the U.S., prior to selecting Parsippany as the site of the new office.

The organization weighted the selection criteria for its investment with a focus on what the prospective cities offered in terms of opportunity to scale, local talent, proximity to educational institutions, opportunity for future client investments and quality of life for EAD employees, company officials said.

EAD, a leading engineering consulting and project management services organization, plans to add multiple regional offices before the end of 2023, officials said.

CEO Stephen Lichter detailed why New Jersey came out on top in the search.

“We’re committed to our clients in all areas of our business and saw this as a perfect opportunity to locate our full suite of services in a key area for our current and future clients,” he said.
