BurgerFi coming (back) to N.J., to open Friday in Cherry Hill

BurgerFi is coming back to New Jersey.

BurgerFi, which said it is redefining how people eat burgers with a high-quality product served in an eco-friendly environment, will open Friday in Cherry Hill at the Ellisburg Shopping Center at 1584 Kings Highway N.

The franchise, which was founded in Florida in 2011, opened a store in Secaucus, but that location has since closed.

BurgerFi, which was started by gourmet chefs, said the quality of burgers sets it apart from other chains.

The company said it uses Angus beef and serves fresh-cut, made-to-order fries. It also offers cage-free chicken and quinoa-based VegeFi burgers.

Can’t make it to South Jersey? No worries. The company says it has plans to open a location at Newark Liberty International Airport next January.

The Cherry Hill location will be the company’s 117th store.
