Larken Associates helps Royal Barbershop lease 1,300 sq. ft. at Raritan Crossing

Larken Associates on Wednesday said it negotiated a 1,300-square-foot lease with Royal Barbershop at Raritan Crossing in Raritan.

Based in Warren, Royal Barbershop is a full-service men’s barbershop offering services including classic haircuts, shaves, facials and wax treatments. Through the opening of a second location in Raritan, Royal Barbershop will build upon its success and meet the growing demand for its highly sought-after services in the area.

Shane Wierks of Jeffery Realty represented both Larken Associates and the tenant in the transaction.

Centrally located within Somerset County, Raritan Crossing is a 62,955-square-foot, three-building retail center that serves the Bridgewater, Somerville and Raritan markets. Located along Route 206 less than a mile from Somerville Circle, the property sees an average of 35,000 vehicles pass by daily. In addition to the center’s ideal location, its proximity to Routes 202 and 22 as well as Interstates 78 and 287 also offers easy accessibility from virtually every direction.

“Raritan Crossing’s ability to fit the needs of a wide array of tenants provides true convenience to the thousands of cars that pass by daily,” Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates, stated. “Through negotiating leases with a variety of tenants like Royal Barbershop, we are happy to create a one-stop-shop experience with a variety of easily-accessible retail, restaurant and healthcare options.”
