Multimillion-dollar penthouse sells in Hoboken’s Wonder Lofts condominium community (SLIDESHOW)

One penthouse remains available for sale, offering three bedrooms and nearly 2,000 sq. ft. outdoor terrace

Hoboken’s luxury condominium community Wonder Lofts continues to attract buyers from Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey. Showcasing the building’s ongoing success is the sale of a top-floor penthouse at the boutique property, according to a recent release from Prism Capital Partners, which developed Wonder Lofts in partnership with Angelo Gordon and Parkwood Development.

Located at 720 Clinton St., Wonder Lofts places residents in the heart of Hoboken, bringing within easy reach all that the area is known for. With skyline views of Lower Manhattan and Jersey City, uncommonly-large living and private outdoor spaces, parking, extensive amenities and preserved architectural charm, it is no wonder that more than 70% of the residences have sold.

Showcasing the building’s ongoing success, according to the developers, is the sale of one of its two top-floor penthouses. The newly built residence features 1,665 square feet of space and features three sets of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors leading out to a 1,909 square-foot private terrace from the living room and dining room, with additional access from the primary bedroom.

The penthouse remaining available for sale is the larger of the two and offers dramatic views of the New York City skyline from every room. The home boasts an open layout in its three-bedroom, 2,001-square-foot floor plan that features an expansive kitchen and living/dining area perfect for entertaining, and a dramatic 1,895-square-foot terrace. The residence is offered at $3.499 million and is available for immediate occupancy.

Meanwhile, Wonder Lofts’ collection of 83 homes is more than 70% sold.  Each residence  are finished with the same premium materials and contemporary finishes found in the Penthouse Collection, including 7.5-inch-wide white oak hardwood plank floors, custom off-white kitchen cabinetry framed with oak trim, elegant white Calcutta Laza kitchen countertops, top-of-the line kitchen appliances including a built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, Wolf gas range, oven and microwave drawer, and Bosch dishwasher, and in many homes, a Sub-Zero undercounter wine/beverage refrigerator. The in-residence laundry room is equipped with a Bosch washer and a Bosch dryer. Bathrooms include custom wall-hung oak cabinetry with off-white Glacier honed marble countertop.

“Residences like the ones offered at Wonder Lofts are a rare find in the Hoboken market and highly coveted by families seeking homes with interior and exterior space comparable to a brownstone or townhouse, but in a full-service, highly amenitized condominium building,” Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president – residential of Prism Capital Partners, stated.

Remaining homes at Wonder Lofts are priced from $1.495 million for two-bedroom residences, $1.899 million for three-bedroom homes and $2.249 million for four-bedroom floor plans.

Design touches of the original Wonder Bread factory, which once produced freshly baked bread from the 1910s to the 1960s, have been preserved in the contemporary redesign. The original brick detail, archways, high ceilings, large windows, a smokestack, and a water tower were all meticulously restored, and such modern additions as a façade of glass and light grey aluminum add to and accentuate the restored original structure. The community also includes a newly constructed five-story building located across the street, which is home to 15 of the residences, several of which include private yards.
