American Dream lands 1st U.S. locations for luxury fragrance houses Amouage and Dr. Vranjes Firenze

Famed international brands, which will be located on the Avenue, are aiming to be open for holiday season

The Avenue at American Dream bills itself as a place that has upscale luxury brands that can’t found anywhere else.

On Wednesday, the entertainment, retail and dining destination showed it is just that, as American Dream announced two international luxury fragrance houses are opening their first U.S. locations.

Both Amouage (the world-renowned Omani fragrance house) and Dr. Vranjes Firenze (the Florentine scent company) will be opening flagship locations on the Avenue, American Dream officials said.

No open dates were announced, but both are aiming to be available for the holiday season.

A look at the two brands:

Amouage: The international luxury fragrance house will open its first U.S. boutique as a nearly 1,000-square-foot store.

Founded in 1983 to become “the Gift of Kings,” Amouage is now an icon in the luxury perfumery world, redefining the Omani heritage of fragrance and garnering a global reputation for creativity, innovation, unparalleled craftmanship and artistry. The brand is a unique fusion of East and West, with alluring collections for confident and discerning men and women who seek something compelling, precious and extraordinary for their personal aura.

“As one of the world’s most sought-after luxury perfume houses, we are always strategic about where we connect with our clients,” CEO Marco Perigeal said. “American Dream is the perfect context for our first U.S. boutique, with a setting extremely close to New York City, as well as close proximity to other top prestigious brands.”

Dr. Vranjes Firenze: The Florentine scent company is a global leader in the field of home fragrances. The iconic luxury brand says it is inspired by a powerful vision: Spaces can become real sensory experiences thanks to the magic atmosphere created by fragrance.

In addition to fragrances for the home, the brand has extended its expertise into new categories including contemporary fragrances for the car, Carparfum, and, most recently, the Eau de Parfum and Scented Body Care Collection.

Since its founding in 1983, the brand has blended unmatched Florentine craftsmanship with deep knowledge and continuous research on scents to create products that evoke an effortless and timeless elegance. Entirely made in Italy, the Dr. Vranjes Firenze products are the ultimate self-reward, and a fine gift to share for any space or individual.

“Our fragrances, along with the colors, sizes and unique designs of our products inspired by Brunelleschi’s Dome, enrich the daily lives of our clients with a well-being and a scented lifestyle exquisitely made in Tuscany,” Paolo Vranjes said. “Clients at American Dream will be transported from New Jersey to Florence as soon as they walk through the door.”

The Avenue at American Dream already boasts well established brands such as Saks Fifth Avenue — the only New Jersey location of the luxury retailer — Hermès, Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., Dolce&Gabbana and Alexander Wang.

Don Ghermezian, CEO of American Dream, said attracting stores such as Amouage and Dr. Vranjes Firenze fits the profile.

“Our mission is to offer our guests shopping and experiences that can’t be found anywhere else in the world,” he said.
